👨💻 About me
Hello! I'm Francisco Sandi, originally from Bolivia and currently living in Washington, DC. I’m a 31-year-old software engineer with a strong curiosity and passion for a variety of interests. I'm a native Spanish speaker, but also fluent in English and German.
I love coding, outdoor sports, board games, writing, productivity systems, learning, and having a good barbecue. I also enjoy sharing experiences and knowledge with others.

I've been working as a Software Engineer since 2018. After college, I worked building apps remotely from Bolivia for many startups worldwide for a couple of years. Sometime later, I moved to Madrid to work for the tech giant Amazon in projects related to the search domain. I'm currently in the USA, where I'm working for one of the most prestigious media companies in the world, The Washington Post. Each experience has added flavor to my professional experience, and I always do my best to stay curious and keep learning new things.
What am I up to these days? At the time of this writing, I have just started a master's degree in Artificial Intelligence at The University of Texas at Austin, I'm getting ready to compete in my first Olympic Triathlon, and I'm building this Blog as an excuse to have some fun coding outside of office hours.
📰 About the blog
I've set up this space to dive into and share all sorts of things that I find interesting. You’ll find a mix of stuff here: software development, personal stories, book recommendations, cool new things I’m learning, inspiring videos, productivity hacks, AI, and a bunch of random reflections. Basically, I love learning and writing about a lot of different topics, and I hope you’ll find something here that interests you too.
I'd love to hear from you, so feel free to drop a comment or share your thoughts. It’d be great to connect with people who have similar interests and are open to sharing their ideas. If you’re into what you see and want to keep up with new posts, follow me on social media.
The journey is just beginning, and we'll see how this blog evolves along the way. Not everything is planned just yet, and that's part of the excitement. As I learn and grow, this space will reflect that dynamic process, and I hope you'll join me in discovering where it leads.
I'm still hungry and foolish, and it's always day one!
Stay tuned for more!
